Anyone who would give up a little liberty, to gain a little freedom; will lose both and deserve neither. - Thomas Jefferson
I'm concerned with the way the "war on drugs" is being handeled. In fact I dont even agree with the fact that there is a war on drugs.Concidering the many problems we face in society, I find it extremely difficult to believe that the lawmakers/enforcers in this country feel the need to crack down on the dangerous marijuana smoker. Seriously, how violent we become when we're high on the weed. I'd really like to sit down with these people and have a heart to heart. Maybe even smoke a bowl with them. I doubt that anyone who advocates the "war on drugs" has even bothered to do a study on people who get stoned (sign me up for the test). I mean here we are doing polls on the legalization of pot for medical purposes, and we never bothered to add another check box under "Hell just legalize the shit". Now getting to the point of the quote at the top of the page; If there was a vote, and a fairly large majority of americans agreed that it should be legal, then it should. I mean I wouldn't legalize it for just one person, but just think off the top of your head how many people you know who smoke! Then think about all of the colleges acros this country...the vote would be substantial I assure you. So this is just a little friendly reminder that the day is coming when people are going to stand together in voice, and scream "Enoughs Enough Just Free The Stuff"
