Background:
.Jade's family immigrated from Southern Ireland just months before her birth. Her father Samuel O'Connor had many ties there, including those with the IRA and Druid societies. Though he tended to lean towards the darker side of things. Her mother, Rebecca, was a Wiccan practitioner and herbalist. She never had any siblings and remained the only child.

Her father saw to it that she was trained in different styles of fighting and protection, which she uses to this day. His style for espionage and undercover work intrigued Jade's curiosity and desires. Since both of her parents were into the occult heavily, Jade followed suit, enjoying the rituals and secret lifestyle that her parents offered openly to her, though why they immigrated to the states (New Orleans) as they did remains a very hidden part of Jade's life and memories. Her father had explained all this to her the night before his and her mother's death in a car accident.

Jade grew up in New Orleans and stayed there until her Embrace by Malcolm Sinclair (Tremere Anarch) at the age of 21. She had already finished school and had gradated from college with a small business degree and minor in occult studies. Jade was always a bit rebellious and free-spirited; this, coupled with her occult background and open mindedness, is what eventually drew Malcolm to her.

Through her sire her training continued...learning the use and care of various weaponry and tactics from him and others he knew. During these years Jade and Malcolm grew to be more then just friends, eventually falling in love. The Tremere Anarch saw that Jade learned many things, including how to survive and still keep her humanity in tact as well as learning to rely on other means of survival besides her vampiric talents. Jade prospered under his tutelage, eventually making a number of contacts in both the Camarilla as well as the Sabbat. Through years of careful endeavors, Jade chose certain mortals to pass information and skills onto. Some became embraced by their own choice by her sire. In the end she trained, with help at first, mortal Hunters to work for her and her sire when the daylight hours restricted their movements.

Currently she is working with three such individuals, though Dustin is the youngest and most talented of the trio. Maverick and Boyd are the other two. One having left New Orleans (Boyd), to attend to matters with her sire overseas at one of his contacts requests. All three are ghouled (as is her retainer, business partner and best friend Morgan).

Jade's past is shady at the very least, and whispered rumors can be heard if one looks deeply enough into the right circles of the underground or Sabbat. Her past includes the demise of a few Kindred out of state by her own hand, as well as business contacts and property here stateside as well as abroad in Ireland.

30 years after her embrace, Jade returned to New Orleans and took up residence there. Currently she has a small occult store in the Bourbon Street area ("owned" and run by Morgan) and a very nice estate in the Garden District (a gift from her sire). Since then, for the last 10 years, she has called New Orleans her home once again. Though it is not unusual for her to disappear for weeks or even a few months at a time on 'business' trips for her sire or other kindred that need her services.
