Chicago's tallest building is the Sears Tower. And although the Sears company no longer has offices in the building it retains its name. 110 Stories. 1,454 feet tall (443 meters). 1,707 feet (520 meters) to the tip of the antennas.
Olympia Center and the John Hancock Center buildings as seen from Lake Shore Drive. The John Hancock Center is the 2nd tallest building in Chicago.

This is the Amoco Building.

Sunlight filters to the floor of the canyon somewhere in the heart of the Concrete Jungle that is Chicago.

Nice shot of the skyline surrounding a Chicago tourist magnet. The Rock'n Roll McDonalds.

Downtown where the rent is much higher business' fight for store front space. A 2nd McDonalds wedges itself into the ground floor of a DePaul University Campus Building. No lines on the weekend!!

Don't try this on a weekday.

A noisy elevated train clatters past the red Continental Center Buildings in the heart of the Chicago's Loop.

A view of the Field Museum of Natural History as seen from north side along the lakefront walkway.

A photo of the front of the Shedd Aquarium building. Most of the older grand museums along Museum Campus are done in huge roman columns. Very impressive up close.

I got to see three people take a tumble on the smaller than normal steps that lead into the Shedd Aquarium in the short time I was out front. Baby steps... but a whole bunch of them.
