Roundtable
Pack 287 has the won the Traveling Trophy again for the third straight month for Dec. 2001. We had an excellent turnout of support and got some useful information for future events. If we can continue this terrific attendance at Roundtable we should be able to keep the Trophy at the end of the year. So lets all Do Our Best to try to attend the upcoming Roundtables. Remember that these meetings are to have fun and get ideas for Pack and Den meetings, and also for upcoming events.
Popcorn Sale
The numbers are not all in yet, but it looks like we did better than last year for the show and sales. Remember that the popcorn order money is due Dec.18, 2001. Good job to all who were able to help with the show and sales.
Christmas Program
This was the first Christmas program for Pack 287 and it was blow out. A job well done to all the Scouts and siblings who participated in the play. There was plenty of food that was fit for a king for all to enjoy. Santa even took time out of his very busy schedule to make an appearance and see all the kids and give them a treat. Looking forward for the next one.
Caroling
We had a great turnout for the caroling at the nursing home and at some individual homes. We were able to get a couple of dessert baskets together to give to the nursing home. It was a very enjoyable night for all involved. If you would like to see some of the carolers go to the Scrap Book page.
Keep up the good work everyone!
