This is a display of all earthquakes large enough to be felt. The earthquake location is indicated by a red symbol. The table at the upper right gives the distribution of earthquakes according to magnitude. Such a table is important in defining expectedearthquakes. The data base was compiled by Dr. Otto Nuttli of Saint Louis University.
