Star Trek
| | |
Most of the books I read for pleasure are Star Trek books. I have a very large collection of them, though it is still far from complete - they keep on bringing out more and more of them, don't they! My favourite Star Trek authors are Diane Duane, Sondra Marshak & Myrna Culbraeth, John M Ford, and Peter David.

And beyond that frontier...

I also love Diane Duane's other fiction. She has written a wizardy series for young people which I really enjoyed, and she has also written a couple of books about feline wizards which I love. Her 'Tale of the Five' series are some of my favourite books ever, and I can't wait for the last one to be published. She has written much other stuff as well. I find that her writing is very engaging and very thought-provoking, and she injects humour into it too. And I find I can re-read her books endlessly.

And further...

The other two authors I read the most are Anne McCaffrey and Terry Pratchett. I love McCaffrey's 'Tower and the Hive' series, the 'Talents' books, and 'The Ship Who Sang' the most. And Pratchett is just so brilliantly funny.
