OPTICAL ILLUSIONS
(THIS PAGE TAKES A WHILE TO LOAD)

At first glance, what do you see--Could it be the word "liar" or is it something more.

There is a hidden message here

Are the diagonals parallel?

Look at the elephants feet and legs. How many are actually there?

What is going on here? Is this man playing a sax, or is there something more here?

This is the Bunny/Duck illusion. At first glance, what do you see? Now give it some time, but do not focus on one certain area, and then ask yourself; what do I really see? Now, look again.

Do you see some squares or rectangles? Really, this is nothing more than a bunch of lines going in every which direction.

When you first look at this, do you see and old man with ivy leaves around him, or do you see a couple kissing? Be patient and give it some time.

When you first look at this illusion, does there appear to be fuzz where the white lines intersect? There is nothing there. Now, I want you to get two sheets of paper. Then I want you to cover the entire grid except for four black boxes, and one intersection Now, where did the fuzz go?

This is another famous illusion. Do you see a vase? Or do you see something more.

When you first look at this, how many colors do you see? Some might say they see 3 or even 4 colors, but there are 2--red and green. People usually think they see 2 shades of red, but there is only 1. Look closely and you will notice on one side that white boxes surround the red boxes, and on the other side, green boxes do.

What you see at first, is a cube with a corner missing. Aspect One: Visualize the missing corner as a solid cube projecting out in front of the larger cube. Aspect Two: make the larger cube turn into a "room" with verticle walls and floor. Aspect Three: watch as the missing corner feature appears to occupy the far corner of the "room."

Stare at the four dots for thirty seconds. Try not to blink. Close your eyes and tilt your head back. Look at the white. Keep Looking what do you see.
