I want him

But can’t have him

I try

But not hard enough

I smile

But my teeth are rotting

I’m running away

And my limbs crumble beneath me

I cry

Thick bloody tears

I begin to speak

But all I hear is screaming

I sleep

With my eyes wide open

And every time I get up

I just fall back down.
