My Favorite Park

I'I always loved to go to the park, even as a baby. So many memories come back to me when I go. The one park I've shared the most memories with is Cuesta Park. It reminds me of my early childhood when I would spend a day with my family, or play on the playground with my friends. I made some of the best memories there, and to this day I still make new ones.

I don't know why, but Cuesta park is very different from every other place I've been to. Maybe it's because I can smell the color green, or because I see the face of joy every time I'm there. Everything there is so distinct like the laughing trees, the singing flowers, the smiling sun. It seems like a dream land. I feel carefree and safe when I am there. Everything gives me comfort when I am there, and I feel like the atmosphere is my family. I feel as free as a bird carelessly soaring through the clouds. It would take a lifetime to share all of the good times I've had there.

My best friend came down with her family to visit from Wisconsin. It was their last day, so we decided to do something special. I suggested that both of our families go to Cuesta together. When we first got there, we were depressed because they had to leave the following day, but then we had a picnic, played volleyball, talked for endless hours. It was picture perfect! Every time I think of that day it makes me smile like a maniac. It seems that whenever I go to or think of Cuesta Park, I get a ball filled with memories thrown at me. I go as often as I can, but that isn't very often because of my family and friends' busy schedules. It has been a while since I've gone, but nothing will ever erase the good times I've had at Cuesta Park.
