St. Paul's Secondary School is a Catholic girl school sponsored by the Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres. It is a grant-in-aid Anglo-Chinese Secondary Grammar School. There are five streams for each level from Form 1 to Form 5, and three streams for Form 6 and 7, constituting a total of 31 classes. With the exception of some special and Chinese subjects, the medium of instruction is English.

Education in St. Paul's Secondary School stresses the Moral, Academic, Physical, Social, Cultural, Religious and Civic aspects which are represented by the seven colours of the rainbow - "The Paulinian Spectrum".
