The Werewolf

Werewolves are humans with the abiltiy to shift into wolf form. They are
also able to become a creature that has both the features of man and wolf. Werewolves are
often concidered to be humans that have become acursed. When the full moon shines, or in
some cases just when night falls, the unfortunate soul is forced to transform into a
monster that will kill any person that it comes across. Sometimes the person will not even
have memories of being a werewolf. It is told that the only way to kill a werewolf is with
silver weapons. Legend tells that if a victim of a werewolf attack survives but was biten by the werewolf that this person will have contracted the werewolf curse. Some people say that the curse is actually like a disease and have termed it Lycanthropy. In folk tales there are some signs to be able to tell if a person is a werewolf or not. These signs include eyebrows that grow together, hairy palms, and sometimes a Pentgram that shows up within the lines of a palm. |
