Stick House-
The Stick House was a house made out of sticks. They did not make their houses very big because it would collapse.
Stone House-
The Stone House was made out of stone they would take the stone and make them into bricks and put one on top of another. Each brick weighted about 15 to 20 pounds so they were the big bricks not the little ones.
Sod House-
The Sod House was made out of sod.(Sod is grass.) They would make the frame out of sticks and then stacked the sod up around the frame of the house.
Hut-
The Hut was a house made out of straw and sticks the frame was made out of stick and the roof was made out out straw that was webbed very tight so if it rained the water would not come in.They would webbed the stick for the outside of the frame not as tight as the roof because the sticks would brake.
Dugout-
The Dug Out was a hole in the ground 7 to 9 feet and on top of the ground it as stick and a roof that is made out of straw and stick it is like a hut but more square and it is in the ground.
