In Auschwitz between 1940 and 1945 there were 405,000 prisoners. 340,000 of    the prisoners perished.  Most of them died from Zyklon-B. Zyklon-B what they used in the gas chambers. Some died through medical experiments. Dr. Josef Mengle was known as the angel of death.
