"There are 350,000 survivors of the Holocaust alive today.
There are 350,000 experts who just want to be useful with
the remainder of their lives. Please listen to the words and
echoes and the ghosts. And please teach this in your schools."

There was not very many survivors compared to the deaths of the Holocaust.  So on this page we honor the survivors of Auschwitz. In the following excerpts the survivors will describe the terrors and tortures in  Auschwitz.

Rudy: We were packed so tightly in the cattle cars that many suffocated. Men and women were  stripped of their wedding rings. When the war ended some men and women got them back.

Plater Rodinson: The Nazis reduced life to a brutal equation, I want to live ; hence you must die.
