Dear Editor,

My husband participated in the Boston Tea Party.  In my opinion what he did was
great!  The British are very disrespectful and obnoxious to have put taxes on the people
that they rely on to make most of their money.  We also clamed this country for the
British, we gave them a good name.
I agree with Patrick Henry when he said "No taxation without representation."  I
am very happy now because the British now repealed the tax.  I can now have a much
better tea than what they have smuggled in from Holland.
Even though it only cost us pennies a year to have good tea we only got paid
pennies a year.  So we could not afford to pay the tax on tea.  I am very proud that we
Americans have finally gotten up enough courage to take a stand against Britain.  Thank
you everyone for standing up and doing what you thought was right.
