are awaiting the day that your
birthday of fifteen arrives, the day you
can dress like a real
man and keep up with the latest fashions.
Young males to give you a
little information on what the
men of these days wear we will tell you a little
about the
clothing styles. This is the year men like
to wear silk, light
breeches, coats with flared skirts,
and flowered waistcoats,
predominately light colors.
Instead of wearing the starched,
formal ruffs soft lace
replaced them. These are worn around the
neck. Wigs are
also worn by men. These wigs are powdered
with chalk and
flour, but you may not just be a common person
to wear
these clothes or wigs. You have to be pretty
high on the
scale, such as nobles, courtiers,
ministers, doctors,
judges, and professional people.
