He was born on October 7, 1900 in Munich, Germany.

Heinrich served as a cadet in the 11th Bavarian Regiment during the 1st World War.

He joined a para-military, national organization and participated in the Munich Beer-Hall Putsch of November 23, 1923.

Himmler was a propaganda leader of the NSDAP from 1925- 1930.

He got married in 1927.

In 1928 he was appointed head of the Gestapo and the Waffen SS.

Appointed head of all SS in 1929.

Himmler was elected to the Reichstag in 1930 as a Nazi deputy for Weser-Ems.

In 1933 Heinrich was appointed Munich Police President and shortly afterwards became commander of the political police throughout Bavaria.

In September of 1933 he was made commander of all political police units outside of Prussia and, though formally under Goering, became head of the Prussian Police.

In 1933 he set up the first concentration camp, Dachau.

By June 17, 1936, Himmler had successfully completed his bid to win control of the political and criminal police throughout the 3rd Reich.

Heinrich Himmler committed suicide with cyanide on May 23, 1945.
