The Nuremberg Trials were trials to punish the
Nazis for what they did they did to the Jews. At the 
conferences in Moscow, Teheran, Jalta, and Potsdam the 
three big powers the United States, Great Britain, Soviet Union,
and France had agreed to punish those responsible for war crimes.
From November 20, 1945 until October 1, 1946 were when
the first group of trials were. President Harry S. Truman 
was the U.S  representative and council  at the International
Military Tribunal. Supreme Court Justice Robert H. Jackson
planned and organized the trials.  Nuremberg was chose 
because the Palace of Justice was spacious.  It had  22,000 m2
of space with 530 offices and 80 courtrooms. It was hardly
damaged by war and had a prison. There was 13 separate trials.
There was four points that the four powers punished the Nazis.
They are listed below.  The verdicts of the first trial is that
12 were hung and 7 had life in prison. Those sentenced to
death were executed October 16, 1946 in an old gym in 
the Nuremberg Prison. The bodies were cremated in
Munich and the ashes were strewn in an estuary of 
the Isar River. The trials on the other trials are at the
bottom to. The second phase of trials lasted from
November 1946 - April 1949.

3.War crimes.
4. Crimes against humanity.

10. 19 senior krupp corporate officials tried for contisticating property & exploiting slave labor.
11. 21 senior Nazi diplomats & government officials tried for various offenses related to implementing Hitlers racial suplemacts & new order in Europe.
12. 14 members of the high command of the German army tried for crimes against prisoners of war against civilians in occupied areas.
