Here's another sketched picture of Stonewall during the war he posed for many picture like this.

Stonewall's horse Little Sorrel was quite a figure; he was said to be very fast.  He was short for a horse, but powerfully built, with a long neck for  such a compacted animal.  Stonewall's company called the horse "Fancy" perhaps in irony.  He looked much like a farm horse, but his gait was comfortable and Jackson could ride him without any effort.  The horse had huge intelligent eyes and was treated like a house pet.  Little Sorrel had a habit of lying down like a dog on halts in marching; Jackson often fed him apples at such times. He was acquired by Jackson from a raid at Harper's Ferry. He was what was  called "war booty."  He was the generals favorite horse he had ever had and Jackson was very proud of him.

Stonewall was known for his beard and his eyes.

Stonewall always had a wagon of fruit behind his company.  He believed in the fruit diet and he thought it cleansed the body.  His favorite fruits were lemons and peaches.
Stonewall was known widely for his religious character which we already mentioned; he read and studied the Bible every minute he could because he thought he must catch up for the time he was not a Christian.
Stonewall actually had the distinction of being buried in two places 100 miles apart. After his own men shot him in his left arm, shattering it, his arm was buried a 1/2 mile away from the field hospital.  So when Lee said, "I have lost my right arm," Stonewall really lost his left.
