After the High Back came out, Nick and Julz Heaney were looking for a boot that combined the heel support of the High Back with the freedom in the toe area of the Moon Boot. Hyperlite R&D team came up with a concept using a lace-up rear entry design to pull the overlay around without pinching the back of your leg like other rear entry boots can.
