Well as was said before, no-ones quite sure about the whole *Chicken Crossing The Road* thing, so I've asked around, and got several theories.

Grandpa - In my day, we didn't ask why the chicken crossed the road. Someone told us that the chicken crossed the road, and that was good enough for us.

The Bible - God came down from the heavens, and He said unto the chicken, "Thou shalt cross the road." And the Chicken crossed the road, and there was much rejoicing.

Sir Edmund Hillary - Because it was there.

Sigmund Freud - As an expression of the repressed desire to have sex with its mother. The road symbolizes the barrier presented by the cultural taboo.

Bill Gates -I have just released the new Chicken 2000, which will both cross roads AND balance your checkbook, though when it divides 3 by 2 it gets 1.4999999999.

Bill Clinton - I never crossed the road. You misunderstood my statement.

Adolph Hitler - To purify the chicken race.

Joseph Stalin - I don't care. Catch it. I need its eggs to make my omelette.

Dr. Seuss - Did the chicken cross the road? Did she cross it with a toad?

Colonel Sanders -I missed one?

Well..., we still don't have an answer.. but.. we've got theories... and theories are what makes the world go round... no.. wait.. thats pointless stuff.. ah well.. nevermind

All I know is that.. the answer.. can't be.. the same as the joke...
