WIN A PLANET SMILEY AWARD!!!

So, you want to win one of my awards, eh?!. Great. I offer 4 of 'em. The highest award is the "Masterpiece" award for site excellence, followed by the "Out of this World" award for originality, the "Smiley" award for cute, happy sites, and last but not least, the "Outstanding Rookie" award for beginners who have done a superb job setting up their new site. I don't consider myself an expert or accomplished critic by any means, I just give out awards to those sites that I think are deserving. Hey, it's my site, I can do what I want! I may or may not award you the award you apply for, I may even decide to give you an award different from the one you choose. Give it a shot, though!!!

A few ways to ensure that you DON'T WIN:
1) I don't consider myself overly anal-retentive, but I CAN'T STAND typos, poor grammar and dead links. I'm an English major so I hate sloppiness and poor English on the 'net.
2) Don't submit me anything with profanity, porno, hate propaganda, you get the idea.
3) Your site must have content, not just graphics and links; i.e, I like to see a THEME.

I've given you a few don'ts. The number of do's, however, is infinite in comparison. The only true limits on what one can do with a web site exist solely with the boundaries of the human imagination.

The awards are described in detail below. I won't give you the Spanish Inquisition, but I will require you to do a few things before I will review your application:
1) You don't have to sign my Guestbook, but I would sure like it if you did!
2) You must fill out the award application (in full) below, specifying which award you want to receive.
3) You must smile.

If you win the award, I will email you to tell you that you've won, and include the award graphic and the HTML code so that you can link it back to my site. Of course, the award won't have the ugly "SAMPLE" thing on it, I just don't want people to steal my awards.

THE "MASTERPIECE" AWARD
My top award, for those sites that are all-around excellent. A "Masterpiece" must be creative, original, eye-catching and insightful both in content and in form. Since this is my top award, I am pretty picky about handing it out. I spend lots of time on the 'net and a "Masterpiece" is the type of site that I won't forget once I've viewed it.

AWARD WINNERS:

I'm working on it!!!

THE "OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD" AWARD
This award goes to sites that are really original, creative and different, the kind that I view and say "Gee, why didn't I think of that?"

AWARD WINNERS:

I'm working on it!!!

THE "SMILEY" AWARD
This award is open to those who have smiley face web sites and/ or to those who make a positive contribution to the 'net by making others smile.

AWARD WINNERS:

I'm working on it!!!

THE "OUTSTANDING ROOKIE" AWARD
This award is a little different from most that I've seen awarded by other sites. This award is meant as a sort of a pat-on-the-back for those who are getting started with their own site and, in my humble opinion, have done a good job so far. I know how hard it is to get started on the Internet with your own site, what with trying to figure out HTML, uploading, editing, the list goes on. In fact, I get a few e-mails a week from people who want to know how to build a site. Myself, I am a self-taught programmer and am still learning daily. Only beginners need apply for this award (the site should only be a few months old). I am looking not necessarily for a great command in HTML in these sites. Heck, you can use a page builder for all I care.

I don't smile. EVER.
My face has been stuck this way ever since that plastic surgery mishap.
