-LUNAR SPACE STATION-
"Ohhhh god...call the Pentagon!"
-CONFERENCE ROOM-
"Mr. McCoy, is it true that there is a giant rock heading for earth?"
"Yes, that's true"
"What size is this rock?"
"I haven't been notified yet"
"What exactly are you attempting to do with the rock?"
"You would all know by now if you let me speak...As you all know there is a rock heading for earth at a speed of 1500k per second. Our calculations say that it is the size of Texas"
"What are you going to do about this rock?"
"We are going to land on it and see what we can do from there, a lot of the information is confidential at this time"
"What kind of team are you sending up to the rock?"
"Well, there will be a team of six people, a scientist, Dr. Rubulska, our Physician is Dr. Munrow, we have a mathematician, Weber, a solider, Lt. Woodrow, there will also be a space pilot with us, Lt. Corbain and there will be me, I am a Psychologist, Dr. Johnson. If you'll excuse me, I must go.
-DR. JOHNSON'S RESIDENCE-
Johnson's family is sitting at the dinner table eating.
"Kids, I'm going into space next week, how does that sound?"
"What are you doing?"
"Well, Jo'el a very important person has chosen me to do something very important"
"What are you going to do?"
"Well, we have to go into space and study a rock"
"That's important?"
"It is to some people. Anyway, Im not going to see you guys for a while so this will be our last dinner together in a while, I'll miss you."
-DR. RUBULSAKA'S RESIDENCE-
When Alex got home she threw her keys down on the table and fell into the security of the big comfy couch. She leaned to the side and turned on the lamp then picked up the phone.
"Hello, mom"
"Ohhh, hello Alexandra, how are you?"
"I'm fine mom, I just wanted to tell you that I'm going out of town for a few months and you won't be able to call me"
"Why, what's wrong, is everything alright?"
"Yeah mom, it's fine, everything's fine, I have to go out of town on a business meeting. Love you. Bye."
-WEBER'S RESIDENCE-
Weber got home and lied on his bed for hours thinking of space, god and the wonders of the universe until he fell asleep.
-DR. MUNROW'S RESIDENCE-
Before Munrow went home he passed by the video store and rented Armageddon and Deep Impact. He went home and watched TV and ate his popcorn all night.
-LT. WOODROW'S RESIDENCE-
Woodrow went home and did some target practicing and training. Then he went out to Burger King to get some dinner. He partied all night and sleep in some apartment building on the other side of town.
-LT. CORBAIN'S RESIDENCE-
Corbain went to sleep in his girlfriend's apartment and told her all he could about the mission.
-SPACE STATION MERCURY-
The next day all six of them left their old lives behind and entered Space station mercury, the new space station that was built for the stopping of the rock.
"We have code named the rock mercury", Instructor.
"Why is that?", Alexandra.
"All sensors reveal that it is a rock heading for earth but with are sensors, monitors and mass and weight scanners. It shows that it is not fully hard and strong almost as if it is hollow. So we are calling it mercury because it is as if the pieces of the rock were put together, and not natural"
"That's weird. So what is our job?", Johnson.
"That's what your all here to learn", Instructor.
The next few days they all learned space exploration and survival skills. They also learned their mission and how to use all the equipment. The instructor showed them around and introduced them to all the machines.
"This is the Mother, it has a claw which can handle with objects that would hurt the human hand. You can send it ahead of you to see what's ahead. It has a light, laser, if you ever get into danger, one person can fit inside and it has a crystallizing system so you can stay alive until somebody finds you. This is the spaceship you will use to get there. It also has the same kind of crystallizing system that is inside the Mother but it has 8 stations. It has the ability to break into different sections. Each room can divide into a different section so that if any part has a malfunction you can separate it from the ship to stop it from effecting the rest of the ship. Your space suits have oxygen tanks and the ability to share with other spacesuits in case a problem occurs. They also have jetpacks, which can help you get where you want. They have magnetic boots, which stick to the surface of the ship. There are also all the basic things that go with the space suit."
"Why send a mathematician, Physician, scientist, marine and all f us instead of trained professionals?", Weber
"You guys are the smartest people we could think of, if the human race were to meet intelligent life, You would be the guys we would want them to meet.", instructor.
"Who says were meeting intelligent life?", Woodrow.
"Well were not sure but we have information that the rock is not Natural and must have been made by some kind of intelligent life", instructor.
They all learned and practiced all the proper procedures the next few months.
-3 MONTHES LATER-
All of them were all suited up with there gear and ready for launch. They boarded the ship and put everything online

The people watched in amazement as the massive ship launched right out into the vast wonders of space.
(Over Radio)
"Space station mercury everything is going as planed and right on schedule"
"Is the rock in your vision?"
"Yes, in the distance we can see the rock floating towards earth"
"Use your rocket fuel to get there as fast as you can. Time is of the essence at the moment"
"Activating booster sequence now"
The ship shot out straight for the rock.
"Guess it's just a matter of waiting now", Corbain.
They all went to their bunks to sleep and wait. Weber and Munrow went to there beds. All the beds were beside each other in a small stuffy hallway. The beds were in small locker like boxes that were places sideways on the floor beside each other. On the opposite side of them was a long couch that spread down the long hall. As Weber was lying in his box he could hear the sound of lose pipes and water dripping down onto the floor.
"What do you think that rock is doing there?", Weber
"You talking to me, how should I know, I'm just wanna go to space", Munrow
"Yeah but they didn't really tell us anything, I mean look at who they sent, They must know something that they are not telling us. Did you listen to the crap they told us, you're the smartest guys on earth. So what, what if something goes wrong, we don't know what to do in emergencies. We don't know anything about space. There hiding something, I can feel it in my bones"
"Yeah well what can we do about it, were already out in space and there's no turning back"
When they got to the rock Dr. Munrow and Lt. Woodrow put on their space suits and activated the door. The door opened up and they were shot out into space. As they landed on the rock Munrow took out his toolbox. He got his cutter and placed it on the rock. It was a piece of triangular metal. On one end it had little tubes which shot out lasers.
(Over Radio)
"Okay stand back"
The machine started to cut though the thin layer of rock. When it finished Woodrow walked over and took away the cutter. Then Munrow placed his lifter on it. The lifter was a handle with a square at the bottom. The square shot out nails which held the handle onto the piece of whatever you wanted to lift. It drove its nails into the rock then he started to lift it.
(Over Radio)
"Are you sure you want to do this Munrow, we can use the Mother.", Johnson.
"This is something I've got to do Johnson"
Munrow lifted the piece of rock just enough to peek though a crack. As he looked inside he saw total blackness and he heard a buzzing sound. He started to pull it out from the rock.
(Over Radio)
"What the hell"
Woodrow's feet came off the ground and he started to get pulled towards the hole. He glanced over to Munrow but he was already gone. Woodrow started his rocked pack in a desparate attempt to get away.
(Over Radio)
"Johnson, get the hell outta here. Its like a vacum, shit. Ahhhhhhh."
Johnson saw the jet pack give way and Woodrow got sucked into the hole. He grabbed onto the Mother right before he got suck in and it held him there.
"Johnson, we have to get that missing piece, its are only hope", Alexandra.
(Over Radio)
"Listen to me. Get the hell outta here! Its like a black hole or something"
The spaceship was pulled down onto the rock and it flip over and went face first into the hole. As Johnson heard the Glass getting pulled off the cockpit he faintly heard the screaming of Woodrow as he got crushed by the ship. Johnson pushed Alex through the door and closed it behind him right before the front of the ship entered the black hole. They could hear the steel giving way to the massive power of the black hole.
(Over Radio)
"Weber, Corbain, can you hear me. You have to get suited up and get out of here, find that piece of the rock that Munrow pulled off. Its our only hope to live"
Weber started to get suited up but Corbain stopped him.
"I'm trained to handle these kind of situations. Stay here and help Johnson and Alexandra"
Corbain closed the door behind him and waved through the little window. As the door opened he got sucked out. He could see millions of things flying in space towards the rock. He switched the power of the pak on and boosted out into space. As he was looking for the piece of the rock, Johnson and Alex were flying around the ship. They were climbing to the back of the ship as the front was getting torn up and the ship kept on getting pulled down more. They were falling everywhere. Johnson opened the door to the cargo room as the ship fell even deeper into the hole. He fell back down to the door leading to the dinning room. He cut his head on the door and blanked out. Alexandra could feel the suction from the other room pulling at the door.
"Johnson! Johnson! Wake up dammit!"
Alex jump up and clutched onto the edge of the door. She felt a hand grab her, it then pulled her up into the next room. As Alex came into the room she saw that it was Weber.
"What the hell are they sending a mathematician up here for", Weber.
"What the hell is going to happen to us?", Alex
"I don't know. But there sending a search and rescue after us. Listen,we cant just stay here and chat. We have to get to the back room and break off from the rest of the ship. If we get there fast enough then we might have enough time to get out of the holes gravity pull"
"We can't just leave Johnson, he's going die if we leave him"
"Okay you go ahead. If I'm not there in 30 seconds close the door and save yourself"
Weber jumped down to Johnson. He picked Johnson up and slammed him against the wall.
"Wake up! Com'on, pleaseee...wake uuuupp", Weber was crying already.
"Leave me", Johnson.
Johnson fell on the floor. Weber fell to the floor and picked him up.
"What the hell do you mean leave you. We cant just leave you"
"This whole thing was a setup. They new it was a black hole. We were sent here in hope that we would go through and meet whoever sent it here. They new it must have been made by another race. They were hoping if they send some of the smartest people on earth, then the alien would spare earth and stop there rock. Don't you get it. I sent you all to hell. Its all my fault. This wasn't meant to happen, we were suppose to live and all go through the hole"
"Listen dammit. You can change that. You can save us now. Get up and let us live. God is giving you another chance, now take that f#%king chance and save your @ss"
"Sorry Weber. I need to complete my mission. Forgive me"
Johnson reached over to the button on the side of the door and pressed it. As the door opened, it ripped of the walls and got sucked into the hole. Everything in the room was sent flying into the hole. Weber's eyes popped open and his arms started to rip off. As Alexandra was closing the door she heard the screams of Johnson and Weber. Blood was spilling all over the glass. Alex detached the room from the ship as she cried and looked out the glass. Through the stains of blood she saw them choking out blood. Johnson was trying to get into the hole as fast as he could so that he would live but just as he entered the hole his body ripped open and Weber was splattered with blood.
(Over Radio)
"Alex...your going to live", Corbain.
"Corbain, your there?"
"I have the piece of the rock"
As the ship got sucked down into the hole Corbain flew in-between and placed the piece in its place. But while doing so his fingers were crushed by the edge of the rock.
(Over Radio)
"Corbain, get the hell out of there"
As he turned around he saw the back room of the ship crash right into his face.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhh"
As the ship collided with the rock Alexandra was thrown to the other side of the room.
(Over Radio)
"Mercury Station, come in Mercury Station"
"Yes we read, what's the problem"
"PROBLEM! You wanna know the f#%king problem. Your ship is gone. Your crew is gone. Everybody's f#%king dead."
"Dead, what happen, didn't they go through the hole?"
"What? You knew? You sons'a bitches! You knew it was a death trap and you sent us here. You knew what was going to happen. You dumb f#%king @sshole $hi^ head d!*ks. You
"
"Did they get through?"
"What, why?"
"Did they get through?"
Alexandra let go of the radio. As tears rolled down her eyes she got into her suit and opened the door. She then used the booster to go to the rock. She then lifted the piece off the rock...
-FOREIGN PLANET-
"Listen, if that rock hits earth. Then the whole of earth will be sucked into this place and there is going to be one massive explosion or something like that", Munrow.
"Ohh God. But we can't do anything about it?"
"Don't know, let's look around"
"Where are we?"
"Heaven?"
They both stood up and started to walk around. They were in a canyon. At one end there was a cave with a bright blue light shinning out from it. They walked inside and saw a diamond shaped object that was floating in the middle of a crater. Munrow pushed a purple button that was on the panel of the crater. Then the area around them turned to black. Then it turned to space.
"Hello, I left this message here to tell you of what are planet once was and what drove us to send the rock to your planet. First off, I sent this message to about the 5 billions planets that are known to us. Are planet was once all green with water surrounding it. Beautiful animals and everyone was friends. It was wonderful. Then as our technology surpassed our handling carefully. Our People went out of control and could do whatever they wanted. A substance called five-one enabled people to make their hallucinations real so that they could get whatever they wanted. It made the creators rich. It made the people happy. It was the best creation ever invented but then the peoples fears were broken. Out, what if a rock came and destroyed our planet, what if a monster came from the water and killed us all. This made the substance illegal but it made so many people feel good that they didn't want to let go of it. They knew its dangers but they were willing to take the chance. Five-one killed almost every known creature on this planet and only now do those creatures that they created live alone. The remaining survivors dreamed of sending a gateway to other planets so that they could save us. Because your own creation did not effect you so we couldn't dream our selves out of this place. Please help us. We left the remaining five-one inside an underwater cave. The remaining of us are frozen. Dream that we are unfrozen. Once you do that we can send you back to your planet. Remember we believe in you, you have the power to do it"
They searched around the planet and saw the many creatures and paintings. The planet was beautiful, there was three islands surrounding a central island. The water was as clear as glass. The sun was shinning down on them and the sky was purple and yellow. It was like something they had never seen before. Spreading around the islands were villages, like an ancient civilization had once lived there. Although there houses and villages looked very primitive, the culture was very hi-tech. But it wasn't machinery that helped them, it was more like they had magic. It was like a world out of a story book. The mountains in the distance were bright and blue, there was mist surronding it. The hills were green, the water blue, the sky was bright. It was like a dream. They spent hours wondering around looking at the world around them.
Then finally they found the water that the creature was talking about, they dove in. As they were swimming to the cave, a monster came out of the darkness and attacked them. It had huge jaws and many tentacles coming out from its rear. It swam at then gracefully and very fast. They quickly swam back up to the surface.
"What are we going to do?", Alexandra.
"Okay I got it. We dig a hole where the cave is, we don't have to go under the water"
They started to dig with their hands. Twelve hours later they had finished the hole and got through to the five-one.
"Okay how do we use this?", Munrow.
"Don't ask me"
(Back in our solar system)
"Sir the rock is at shooting range. Do you want to fire at it?"
"No, that will shatter it open causing the whole of earth to be sucked inside and who knows what on the other side. We have to hope that the impact wont break open the rock"
(Alien Planet)
Munrow and Alex and hard at work trying to get the five-one working.
"Its not working"
"Just Concentrate!"
"Its inside the Atmosphere"
"They are unfrozen"
"Seven seconds until impact"
"It worked. Look!"
"4...3...2...1"
The dust and dirt threw the helicopters back. There was fire everywhere. When the dust cleared everyone on earth eagerly looked through their tv's. There were two figures hugging each other. As the camera closed in on them, Everyone could see Munrow and Alexandra with dirt in their faces and torn up clothes. They looked up at the sky and heard.
"Thank you"
