The Skeleton is the collection of bones that hold the body up. The Skeleton protects are vital oragans like are brain, heart and lung. It gives us are shape that we have. It also allows us to move with the help of are muscles that are attached to them. We are born with 350 bones, by the time we are adults we hvae only 206 bones. this is because some bones join together as they grow. Are bones join together from joints. At the end of each bone it is covered by cartileage.
