Over these two weeks,200 countries around the world will send their best Athletes to the Olympic Games where they will aim for a gold medal.

The Olympic Games is regarded as the ultimate place to compete in Sport .Below is a brief history of the first Olympic Games.

The History of the Olympic Games originated in Athens, Greece in 1896. It was held on March 25th and ended on April 3rd.The sports in the first Olympic games consists of the 9 Sports:

-Fencing
-Wrestling
-Shooting
-Tennis

More than 300 competitors came from 13 countries to compete in these 9 sports. The countries were
