Hello,
My name is Anna-Liisa Corsi. I am currently a senior at the American
University. I am majoring in elementary education and right now am
participating in my student teaching experience. I student teach
at Bethesda Elementary
in Maryland. (You can click on Bethesda Elementary and it will take
you to the sight!) I love it there, everyone is so nice and extremely
helpful!!! Being there has proven to me how much I really do want
to be a teacher!!
I am originally
from New York, a small suburb just outside of New York City. My mother
is from Finland
and so I speak Finnish fluently and I enjoy going there to visit my relatives.
Besides going to Finland, I really enjoy traveling. My junior year
here at American University, during the spring semester I lived in Madrid,
Spain. I learned a lot about the culture and am now able to speak
Spanish quite well. I would love to go back to Spain again, but this
time for more than 4 months.
Obviously I
am a member of Kappa Delta Pi. It is an excellent club at American
University. All of the members are active in the field of education.
As a club, we hope that there are some steps that we can take in making
change in the field of education. We encourage anyone in the field
of education to apply!
I hope that
you enjoyed the web page and if you have any comments please e-mail me.
Thanks.
