Prayer isn't getting our will done in heaven, its getting God's will done here on earth.
Praise:
  • Two new Christians from the English Conversation group. Pray they may now be founded in their faith.

  • That students are keen enough to put together an evangelistic even on their own initiative (the Masquerade dinner.)

Prayer:
  • Mid-Year Conference takes place mid July. There are several non-Christians coming, pray for them as many make a commitment during the conference. Pray also for the bible training.

  • My efforts to put together a financial team as my support level nears halfway.

misplaced and arrogant. With time I've come to see that people are rarely won solely by arguments.  A Jehovah Witness or anyone else needs to be viewed as much more than just an 'object' to be evangelised. If we view the non-Christian as some kind of enemy to be conquered, will we really be able to show genuine care and love?

Through our care and sharing in a community setting most people open up to the truth. In fact it can be a lack of feeling belonging that draws some out of churches to cults in the first place.

PRAYER
See how the top third of this newsletter has the address on one side, and prayer points on the other? This means you can cut out your prayer points without ruining the rest of this wonderful newsletter. Now that's thinking! So go on, go grab those scissors and start cutting!

For those among us who tend to be of the forgetful type, cutting out the prayer card has an added benefit... Next time you get off the train and you can't quite remember where your house is, just whip out your prayer card, flick it over and volla, there's your address.

Who am I? Do you recognise this man?
It's Steve Mannyx, the man currently doing a STINT in an undisclosed Middle Eastern city like myself last year.
