PHS has had mixed successes on the rugby field.

The school fields 4 teams - U14, U15, U19B, U19A of which the U14's were the most successful last season, losing only 3 games which boasts well for the future of rugby if such talent is only now beginning to move through the ranks.

The school plays in the A2 schools league as well as participating in various tournaments both locally and nationally. Results to be posted once the season begins.
