Fund Raising Dinner -

Putnam's Pride, the restaurant at Putnam Vocational High School Springfield Ma, 1300 state St., will be hosting a Ziti dinner to help Team 96 The LEGO Maniacs raise money for the 2001 competitions. The outcome we hope will be a success, as in the past it has been a success. Hopefully this years dinners will be even better then the dinners we had last year. We are selling tickets at $5 each- one set for the first sitting, from 4:30pm to 6:00pm, and the other set for the 6:30pm to 8:00pm sitting.
The dinner will be held on Friday the 26th of January. The dinner will start off with a salad, followed by the main course of ziti, meatballs, and hot garlic bread and ending with a hot fudge brownie sundae. Coffee, water, and juice will also be available. Students and teachers will be dressing up in the team t-shirts and blue jeans or skirts and be your cooks, waiter/waitresses, greeters, dishwashers, bussers, setup, or drinks people. The food and anything else that was needed to help put on this event was either bought or donated. The food needed for the dinner was cooked in the kitchen at Putnam's Culinary Arts shop by the students on Team - 96. All the proceeds form these events will be used for the team that will be traveling to the different events and also to help finance the registration process of the seperate competitions and future dinners.
