Each letter in FIRST represents one of the five teams involved in the creation of our robot. Each team plays an significant role and is no more important than the other.

Fundraising / Pep-Squad
This team is responsible for arranging all types of fundraisers to raise money to support the entire team in the making of the robot, and for the costs of the traveling expenses. They will also serve as "cheerleaders" during the competitions. Each member of Team 96 The "Lego Maniacs" is part of this team.

Media
The media team is responsible for getting the word to others (by means of tv, newspaper, video, pictures, website, etc.) about Team 96, what we do, what our goals are, and what we've accomplished.
The operations,stragety and coach team is in charge of coming up with techniques and strategies we can use in the running of the robot and the tactics it uses in the competitions. This team also is in charge of running the robot in the competitions.

Design and Building
The pit crew is responsible for designing and building the actual robot, and also for repair of the robot during the competition.

This team is responsible for the design and production of a video presentation of our robot(in cartoon like form) for another side contest with FIRST.
