" Well someone out there likes me. This is the second e-mail I have
gotten from a person whom I must keep conceiled giving us a look at the plot of FFVIII.
Well, I am going to publish this e-mail this time, and see what all of you think. This is
directly from the e-mail...
They are named Jurnigan and Victor. Victor is mysterious knight
carrying a lance. His manner indicates a formal gentil attitude. He is living in a world
full of machines and advanced technology, although for some reason he is techology
illiterate. Squall meets him in a dark, futuistic city called Firstencell (Much like
Midgar).
Victor is accompanied by 2 people who are alter egos of himself. Jesse and Sure. This is an indication that Victor is from another word that is much more primitive than Squall's world...He also may know who Laguna Loire is, whatever that means. Jurnigan is an old friend of Squall. He was once thought to be Lenore's ex-girlfriend. He hadn't seen Squall in 5 years. This character is supposably 30 years-old, Squall's tutor for general martial arts, self defence,etc... this guy is suppoed to be really extravegent and flambouyant....wearing a tux or something.
As for story this seems less likley but: There is the Megalantic Federation and the Imperial Union, both of them are advanced nations... and the Union is supposed to be the evil country. It is said that Squall is a soldier for the federation. In addition to Firstencell (Dark futuristic Midgar-type plate city), There has been more info added to this...
There are three cities like Midgar from FF7... They also serve as a key to the story...at this time it is unknown. The three cities are Spica, Zul Avizira, and Firstencell. Two of these cities are nasty, run-down and ultra high tech. They are run by an independent council called Weapon City, formerly known as Plate City. All these cities contain terible weapons of mass destruction that were funded by other nations.
Away from the futuristic side of FF8, there will also bre other ancient
civilization towns, old 17th century...in general the format is a clash between all time
periods. Two other possible characters include Aubrey, a 32-year-old female and Cameron, a
male scientist in his mid-30s."
