This page is dedicated to Jars of Clay- my favorite band!! Their acoustic rock is accompanied by meaningful lyrics that deal with topics like fear and worthlessness. Their name comes from 2 Corinthians 4:7 "But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us." This verse refers to our frail human bodies that God endowed with minds and eternal souls.
Anyway, I totally encourage anyone to buy either of their cd's, you'll like them, I promise.

~Jars best known song "Flood" is the song played during the credits on the movie Hard Rain, with Morgan Freeman, Christian Slater and Minnie Driver!! Not exactly the most recent news ever, but I didn't know about it until I went on this vacation, and the movie playing on the airplane was Hard Rain. The movie is pretty good, it has some exciting moments where Christian and Minnie almost drown, and there's a lot of backstabbing to keep you on your toes.
