These are Jodie and Mack. They are going out. The reason I put them up on the AWARDS page, is because Jodie LOVES extracurricular activities. And extracurricular activities sometimes bring awards... Mack is a friend of Kevin's. Kevin is Brittany's boyfriend. They are both football players, and football, sometimes bring awards. This picture is the only one that is not transparent and that's because you won't be able to see the hair, or Mack's shirt if it was. Yes, the Cool Site Award supposed to look like it came from a rock.
Before you apply, I'd like to go through a couple of rules...
- One, first and most important -- no profanity, no nudity. This site supposed to be OK for every member of the family. I agree to some cursing, but don't make it you every second word in a sentence... That's extremely annoying, and extremely ugly.
- I don't want to see a list of links to all these weird pages on the Internet. I want to see text, read it, and enjoy it.
- I want to see images, I love images. So, all your images must work. I will accept one, maximum two images that don't work, but that's it.
- Music - I am all for it, but if you got a song that's going to repeat itself over and over again, make sure I can stop it I want it. And even if it's not going to repeat itself, have music controls.
- I judge the page. I have to like it. I like all kinds of pages, but those that just don't have enough work put in them, and still apply, well, they are just not picked.
These are my rules. They are simple to follow, so if you think you got it, apply now. And by the way, don't think you have a day or two to fix those things that you have to fix, because as soon as I get the e-mail, I click on the link to your page, check it out, and decide. So if you got fixes and changes to make, do them now, and come back to apply when you're done. Bookmark this page.
How will you know you won? Or lost...?
As soon as I know who the winners are, I also know who the losers are. There are 2 winners per week. Once your site was checked out and decided on, you will get� an e-mail from me. What you will actually get is an automatic message (I can do that), telling you if you won or lost. Winners receive an e-mail with an attachment, which ever award they won. The automatic message will say "congratulations..." and after it will come the HTML code you need to put on your site. DO NOT CHANGE THE CODE. It is set up to say different things about the award, and it also links back to my site. Any change of the code will cause you to lose the award. (How do I do that? That's my secret). Winners have one full week, from the day I send them their congratulations e-mail, to set up the HTML, and e-mail me back. YOU HAVE TO E-MAIL ME BACK, its only fair. When e-mailing me back, I need a link to your awards page, not your home page, a link to the page where I can see the image I gave you, linked back. I DO check the HTML code (!!!) so make sure you didn't mess it up. After I saw your awards page, and my award on it, I will add your site to the Winners page.
I've been asked many times to tell winners where they can pick up their award online. I will not do that anymore. If you cannot receive attachments, that's your problem. Figure out a way to receive them, or don't apply.
Now the losers. You also will receive an automatic message from me, by the name of "I'm Sorry" or "Sorry". The message will tell you that you lost this week's award. After the automatic message you will see "end of automatic message" and "message from author begins". That's where I� write down my comments. Usually I would make a list of the things you need to add/delete from the site. Many times I wrote back to people a losing letter where the list of things to do as to fix the site was about 35 objects long. After the list you'll find a message from me that says that after you fix these things, you may apply again. In fact, I urge you to. I do not discriminate. :)
Replying to your appliance may take between a day to one full week. This is because I am a high school student and don't have a lot of time. I try to do it ASAP.�
