This
list of sites is by no means a full list of places to watch
birds,it is just a few favourite places that I like to visit,
please note, all of these sites are owned and managed by the Lincolnshire Trust For Nature Conservation,
and may require a permit to visit.
- Burton gravel
pits. Situated on Burton Lane 3 miles northwest of
Lincoln.
- Far Ings,Barton-upon-Humber. Situated on Far Ings
Lane, a short distance west of the Humber Bridge.
- Gibralter Point National Nature Reserve. The
reserve lies between Skegness and Wainfleet Haven.
- Kirkby Moor. Situated on Moor Lane between
Woodhall Spa and Kirkby -on-Bain.
- Linwood Warren. The reserve is located on the
Legsby Road, just outside Market Rasen.
- Messingham Sand Quarry. To the east of the B1400
Messingham to Kirton-Lindsey road.
- Moor Farm. entrance is 500 metres from the
junction with the Woodhall Spa- to-Kirkby road.
- Snipe Dales. This reserve lies close to the
hamelet of Winceby, well sign posted from the A158
- Whisby pits. Situated to the west of the Lincoln
relief road
