Press Release:

"GryphonWeek" to hit the 'Net August 31st

There's a new periodical on the scene at the Crystal Springs Uplands School in Hillsborough, CA, and it's one that just might turn some heads.  "GryphonWeek", at http://go.to/gryphonweek, will feature editorials on a weekly basis that couldn't or wouldn't be published through other means, notably "The Gryphon's Tale", the other online periodical at CSU.

"We just feel that these other voices need to be heard," GryphonWeek editor-in-chief Alden Sliter said in a statement yesterday.  "The GT [Gryphon's Tale] just doesn't speak in tongues.  And besides, who wants to wait two months for new material?  I don't.  That's why GryphonWeek is committed to being updated every week."

When asked how the heck he would be able to pull off such a stunt, Sliter replied that he has "no idea", but is willing to sacrifice his social life, grades and possibly his acceptance to college to stay weekly.  "I just think some things are more important than a life, grades and a college education, and this is one of the them."  Sliter was later checked into a mental ward by his family.

GryphonWeek plans to have weekly movie reviews by noted reviewer Sliter, exclusive interviews, rants by noted ranter Aaron Kulka and whatever else it possibly can.  The first issue is expected to be released in conjunction with the start of school.
