Review of Games

Final Fantasy 7

-This is absolutely the BEST RPG I have ever played. The plot along with the graphics totally stuns you. The plot consists of a complex web of characters whom you gradually relate to as you travel to their hometowns.The element of materia is also new. Materia are orbs that you attach to your weapons or armor to give it special powers. There is also an arcade in which you can play "mini" games like snowboarding, basketball, motorcyle race... ect... located within the game itself. Also as a bonus, you can spend time breeding and racing chocobos, which are birds that transport you from place to place in the Final Fantasy 7 world. This game is a must buy. 5 stars.

-Bust-a-Move (Bust-A-Groove)

-Originally named Bust a Move in Japan, this break dancing game has made it to the US. There are many characters, each with their own dancing styles. The way the game is set up is based on a battleing system. There are 4 beats to a measure, and you have to press a certain combination of direction pad controls with buttons to "bust out combos". With every combo busted out, the camera moves a little bit towards your character. At the end of the song that is played in the background, whoever's character that is "spotlighted" with the camera is the winner.The hard part comes in when you have to attack and dodge while pressing your combo buttons. This is the best dancing game out there. 5 stars.

-Need For Speed 3

-This racing game lets you drive many types of cars on obstacle courses like many other games. Lets you drive from a Diablo, to the secret car, El Nino.There are different mode to play in: competition, 2 player race, and Hot Pursuit. Hot Pursuit is a mode where you race against another player, but the trick is to advoid the cops. Cops try to run you off the road, set up road blocks, and do everything you can think of to screw you over. After being caught 3 times, they drag you off to jail and you loose. Ok racing game. 3 stars.

-Parasite Eve

-The graphics are dazzling. You are Aya, a NYPD blue police officer in search for a mysterious EVE. Eve's mitochondrias in her cells have evolved past human intellegence. Eve's mission is for mitochondria to take over the world. Aya is the only one with the mitochondria most adapted to contain Eve's powers. Armed with many different types of guns and her own set of mitochondria powers, Aya sets out on an extremely computer graphics rendered game to save humankind. A good game to add to any RPG collection. 4 stars.

-Einheinder

-This is the best side scrolling 3-d shooter game I have played. The game is a mix of side scrolling and three dimensional gaming. The screen flies by so fast, that next thing you know, you ran into a wall. The enemies are not stupid and are not like sitting ducks. They hunt you down with great marksmanship, or totally run kamikazee into you by sacraficing thier lives. This game requires a great sense of hand-eye coordination. Shooter lovers should get this game. 4 stars.
