You're a hiding place from a storm On a cold day,you're the warm A beautiful sunset has a brighter hue When I'm sitting outside, thinking of you Your laughter makes my heart rejoice I'm smiling inside when I hear your voice I love the way we have fun and play I'm interested in you and everything you say When we're not together, it's as if you're still there Forever about you, I will always now care Walking down life's road use to be such a hard mile But I'd walk over mountains to see your special smile Won't take for granted your beauty or your charm Should you need to be steadied, you can always take my arm Life to us has not always been so kind But I hold my head high with you by my side Now any tears I cry are a different kind All because of you, and the way that you shine So to you from me, I seal these words with my heart And I promise you, I'll never want to depart
