"Lost and Found"
Saw you from afar
And noticed your warm smile
Walking to my car
This info I would file
Afraid to get close again
So my distance I would keep
Wondering if I could ever bend
Because past pain runs deep
So lost and feeling alone
Pondering if I'll ever be found
The feeling goes right to the bone
Praying please keep my feet on the ground
But remembering that file box
My heart saying it's time to trust
So to you, I give the key that unlocks
But be gentle, for I'm just dust
Unsteady steps, can be so tough
But your steady pace isn't rough
Was feeling lost, but now feel found
As my dear friend, we'll always be bound
As we let eachother in
And watch eachother grow
That reassuring smile I win
As the "rip" is being sewed
Now having you for a friend
Without a doubt, there's no guessing
Thought I was lost at the roads' end
Instead found YOU, with God's Blessing
