"Blooming Into Womanhood"

I know a young woman
Who does love the sea
And all the creations
That were created to be

She searched for the truth
And there she found
Joy, peace and self respect
Without any bounds

Her smile, her laugh
The twinkle in her eye
Attests to the power
In the heavens and the sky

She's not a little girl anymore
A real woman she's become
I'll treasure those photographic memories
Of her sucking her thumb

She's grown from a small bud
To a flower in full bloom
Yes, this is the "rose"
I've always known and deeply love too
