"What If"
If babies were born that were always wanted If words spoken never haunted If love ruled supreme from every mountain top If happiness never stopped If promises spoken were always true If family and friends stuck like glue If there never was war anymore If nobody again, was ever poor If no one made you shed a tear If there was no one to ever fear If there was no blindness... only loving kindness If there was no hate... only neighbors who opened their gate If everyone had inner joy If every child had at least one toy If we could give something to everyone in need Perhaps we'd never see that heart bleed If you ponder your reflection to see what you see If change is going to happen it starts first with the reflection.....me
