Kedarnath is perhaps one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimage destination. Situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the Kedar valley is at an altitude of more than 4000mts above the sea level. From Delhi the route is via Devpravag and Rudraprayag. Devprayag is the confluence of river Bhagirathi and Alaknanda and Rudraprayag is the confluence of river Mandakini and Alaknanda.
