| Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge: Since 1985, ANAI has worked with the local community in Gandoca to strengthen the beach habitat for turtle nesting, and to protect the turtle eggs from poaching and domestic predators. Volunteers patrol the beaches to retrieve and relocate turtle egg nests. | |

| San Jos�: A limited number of volunteer positions in the San Jose office are available for those interested in the organizational management, planning, and promotion of an environmental NGO in Costa Rica. We seek volunteers interested in aiding in tropical conservation and community development, but who would like to gain office rather than field experience. Excellent communication, organizational, and managerial skills are necessary. Basic conversational Spainish is required. | |
