Allosaurus (AL-oh-SAWR-us)
A bipedal allosaurid theropod from the Late Jurassic of Colorado, Montana,
New Mexico, Oklahoma, S. Dakota, Utah and Wyoming, North America,
Africa, Australia and perhaps Asia. Reminded of Megalosaurus, but was even bigger.
It also had more teeth in the anterior part of it's upper jaw, and an extra pair of openings
on the side of it's skull. It had two bony knots above and in front of the eyes, two smaller
knots behind them, and a long, bony comb that stretched from eyes to nose.
