Barapasaurus (bah-RAP-uh-SAWR-us)
A quadrupedal sauropod from the Early Jurassic of India. Barapasaurus is one of the
oldest known sauropods. It had thin legs, a short deep head and unusual cavities in it's spine.
Some of the bones were "old fashioned", like the bones of a parasauropod. It could belong
to its own family, barapasaurs.
