Majungatholus (mah-JOONG-ah-tho-lus)
A Late Cretaceous pachycephalosaur from Madagascar [for Majunga, Madagascar + Latin tholus, "done"]. Majungatholus had a thick, rough, convex top. Since this small "bone-head" lived in Late Cretaceous Madagascar, we have proof that the bone-heads of the north reached the southern hemisphere in Early Cretaceous. Its brainpan was found in the beginning of the 20:th century, but wasnt identified until 1979.
Length: 1,5 m
