Nodosaurus (NO-do-sore-us)
A Late Cretaceous ankylosaur from Kansas and Wyoming, USA [Latin nodus, "knob"]. Nodosaurus had alternating rows of big and small plates along its back and sides. Big plates between the ribs were covered by bone-bumps.
