Plateosaurus (PLAT-ee-oh-sore-us)
A Late Triassic prosauropod from Germany, France, Switzerland and England [Greek plateo, "flat"]. Plateosaurus was a large, broad-footed prosauropod with a small, stong head, flattened pointed teeth and a rather short neck.
