The above image was taken from a shrine in Batong Paloay, Catanduanes. It is an image of the Blessed Virgin miraculously embedded in a growing stone. A blue stone was found by a native along a creek. Throughout the years, the stone 'grew' and with it the details of the Image start showing. This photo was taken almost 10 years ago. There now exists a church housing this miraculous stone. |

MIKI:
THE ROLE MODEL Wow! Miki is now 11 years old. He transfered this September to the MIddle School and had adjusted very well. He made new friends, "A's" in all his subjects, and impressed his teachers. Very active in sports - karate, soccer, basketball, loves Nintendo and anything about Pokemon and Star Wars. Miki has a talent in music. He knows how to play the flute, clarinet, and now is quickly learning piano. Very talented and well-rounded, indeed. Thank God...he still acts like a kid. Few more years, we'll have a teenager. |

"My Kite" - 3rd Grade Excellent Author Award |
ANGEL: Excellent Author! Angel has been named an excellent author, twice now, in their school. This funny man has a literary talent. Read his most recent work "My Brother's Monkey". He made it into a karate blackbelt. He plays soccer and scored FIVE goals this season. We surely are proud of him! During the first grading period, he got First Honors. |

MEG: The Charming Princess Wanna hug? Meg will give you one. She is very lovable, yet firm. She's the apple of her second grade teacher's eye. She tops the class, always prepared, and aced her subjects. She loves jazz and ballet. She plays piano and sings in the church choir. She scored one goal this soccer season, and her team won 70% of their game. She is a wonderful example to her younger sister. And yes, she loves to read. |

MELVIN: The Most Popular Kid in the Block. It is amazing how Melvin gets so popular among his classmates. We are just surprised when parents approach us asking whether we are Melvin's mom and dad, and telling us that their kid keeps on mentioning Melvin at their homes. We had a first hand experience with this when during their class Thanksgiving Show, everyone was cheering for him. He is now 6 years old and it is his first year in school. Among the four "grown-ups", he is the most agile. He continues to be picky on what he eats...and of course, the thinnest of all. He just learned to pray the "Our Father" and "Hail Mary" and loves to lead during Rosary. |

MICHELLE: Pretty in Pink. Michelle is growing too fast. She is also a big girl. She is over 95%ile in height and weight. Very active and well advanced at her age group. Very adorable and intelligent. Loves to play with our 100-lb labrador who she fondly calls "Oss" (His name is Oscar). She loves to giggle, lough and yes..scream. At this very young age, 1 year and 2 months, she wants to be independent. |
