COREOPSIS
With four acres, we have plenty of wildflowers. Several years ago, this area was changed from a field I had to mow, to a field full of wildflowers from just a can of wildflower seeds. This year the tickseed coreopsis really dominated. I transplanted a large clump into a pot for the front porch and it is still doing as well as these.
What would a Wisconsin yard be without the obligatory old, rustic wheelbarrow overflowing with flowers. I threw in a few pansies to complement several coreopsis granfloras.
