WILDLIFE
Out front, just beyond the border where grass meets field, sits a deer feeder filled daily with cracked corn. It's so relaxing to sit on the front porch and talk to "our" deer as they eat, especially the doe with twin spotted fawns. The deer have gotten to know us so well that we can get this close to snap a picture. It also keeps the deer, beautiful but very destructive, from obliterating our gardens. We have not had any deer damage since we began feeding them year around.
